Policies
1. Appointment Booking and Cancellation
- Booking: Appointments must be scheduled the day before at the latest. Please use my online booking system to secure your slot.
- Cancellation: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service.
- No-Shows: Clients who miss an appointment without notice will be charged a no-show fee of 100% of the service cost.
2. Health and Safety
- Vaccinations: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations. I require proof of vaccination for DHPP and Rabies. Please upload documentation when booking prior to the first grooming appointment.
- Parasite Control: Dogs should be free of fleas, ticks, and other parasites. If parasites are detected during grooming, I reserve the right to refuse service and recommend a veterinary visit. Flea baths of non-serious cases will incur a $50 fee.
- Medical Conditions: Please inform me of any medical conditions or special needs your dog has. (Heart murmur, arthritis, epilepsy, etc.)
-Matting: matting will incur an additional fee. Shave downs will add $50+ to your pet’s service.
3. Behavior and Aggression
- Behavior: I reserve the right to refuse service to dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior or are excessively anxious. For the safety of myself and your pup, I will not groom dogs that pose a risk.
- Handling: If a dog becomes very aggressive I may use muzzles. However if your pup is overly stressed you will receive a call to come pick up your pet. I don’t like forcing them way beyond their limits.
4. Grooming Services and Pricing
- Services: I offer a range of grooming services & more to come!! Specific services and prices will be provided during the booking process.
- Pricing: Prices are based on the dog’s size, breed, coat condition, and the specific services requested. I provide a price estimate before starting any grooming service. Prices are subject to change if anything else is deemed necessary during the grooming process (Dematting, extra brushing, special shampoo, etc.)
5. Property and Personal Items
- Leads and Collars: Please ensure your dog is on a secure lead or collar when arriving. I am not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
6. Payment and Gratuity
- Payment: Payment is due at completion of service. I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment options.
- Gratuity: Gratuity is appreciated but not required. Tips can be added to the payment method of your choice.
. Client Responsibilities
- Arrival and Pickup: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Drop offs are allowed up to 15 minutes early. Please try to take you dog on a potty break before coming in. Ensure timely pickup of your dog. Late pickups past 30 minutes may incur additional charges.
- Contact Information: Keep your contact information up-to-date. We may need to reach you in case of emergencies or changes to your dog’s grooming needs.
8. Customer Feedback
- Complaints: I strive for the highest quality of service. If you have any concerns or feedback, please address them with me directly so I can resolve any issues promptly.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: While I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, I aim to ensure customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with the service, please notify me within 24 hours of your appointment.
9. Confidentiality
- Privacy: I respect your privacy and handle all personal information with confidentiality. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
